Hear Me Out explored the needs of hearing aid users in their transition phase to becoming active hearing aid users.
This project was conducted with three other Co-design MA students and focused on engaging members of the hard of hearing community in workshops and dialogues through various creative design-research
tools in order to gain a deeper understanding of this complex health issue, focusing on people and their relationships to others and their environments. This inquiry was made possible by carrying out qualitative
research and field-visits to affected persons and their relatives. Hear Me Out was a partnership between The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts
(KADK) and the Danish hearing aid company GN Resound. GN Resound’s directive was to develop specific ‘dialogue tools’ to further dialogue  between users of GN’s products and services, and to uncover and describe potential needs and wants for those users in the future.
